Snow capped mountain peaks
Like a transparent sapphire sky
Cloud banks seeking the closure of fallen rain
Redwoods at the whim of surging winds
Yet we continually seek to the presence of miracles

I saw Dahl Jilin Temple
In Hulun buir
A place of worship
Structure, altar, sanctuary
The prosperity of Chinese
Mongolians
A holy, sacred edifice
to ground, surround,
contain the blessed
Deities and joss sticks fragrance
A building made of solid concrete
A quiet peaceful place

I visited Ōwakudani which
means (Great Boiling Valley)
A huge green valley where a
slow stream flows
And leaves long strands of silver on the bright
Grass from the mountain top
The sun rays fill the hollow
full of light.
But it is a volcanic valley
With active sulphur vents
You get to boil eggs there to eat
And eggs promote longevity
I could smell the sulphur
Lingering in the air

A view from the plane window
A lustrous sky
The moving clouds
I appreciate the moment.
The sun kisses the clouds
Like a powerful bright light bulb
Shooting its brightness right towards my face
The heat, the brightness,
the view
Indeed a perfect view
Its look like an artpiece
to me

I saw a long winding road
Its a long long road
Life is like a long winding road
A long twisted trail that we need to decode.
Some times there are humps
And bumps
Ups, downs, lefts and rights
But then it becomes smooth, and it's bathed in the evening light.
Along the road, I meet up
Some people
People may come and go
But from what ever the reason
I will learn and grow

Two bone china tea cups
Edged with gilt and white inside
Little flowers so delicate ran around the sides
Beautiful white colour
The tea must be really hot with a few grains of sugar
The class of the bone china cup makes the English tea taste better
Just nice for me and my mother

A how do you do
Words of kindness
And comfort too
Making beef dumpling soup
For family dinner
Its their special dish
Many smiles and chatting
About family life
Making me feel so at home
A happy lovely family
A close family indeed!

a yellow sky and a dark sky
Amazing to watch the sky
Forging different colors
The horizon is a prize
How the colors mix and melt
And look as soft as felt
How they float away with the wind
As you wish them back
And the feeling that makes you wonder
Staring at the sky
Its like a heavenly look
Imaging myself walking
Through paradise

A box of fragrant incense from
Tibet
The sweet smell of it touches
my senses like gentle spring
rain upon my skin
Each note of scent offered triggers me like a child
Soft feelings of times
I am offered peace
The smoke twist and curls up to the heaven
And for a moment, I felt content

My neighbourhood is quiet in
the night
I walk around the neighbourhood
And sometimes I cycle around
With my friends
I stare up at the pearly moon
and the dark sky
I saw a black cat resting
On the rooftop
The whole scenery was peaceful
Dim street lights
The wind blows gently
The smell of night flowers
Frogs croaking
Crickets chirping

As I was walking along
I saw red fire hydrant
They are of several colors
Red, blue, yellow green
Attached to the sidewalk
Or
even the ground
For it stood alone
But it is important
It saves lives or homes
Most precious its life giving
Free water for all
This little guy can put off
Fire too!
