actually i prefer to speak Spanish,but unfortunately i know little about it.about the issue concerning accents,i'm afraid i can't agree with you.the British accent is preferable to me,and in fact i somewhat dislike the American accent mainly due to its 儿化音.so far i haven't contacted with the Irish accent yet,which is said to sound lousy.i have to get a high score in the Ielts to ensure a good availability to obtain the visa,which is extremely difficult,even impossible for me.recently English has almost driven me insane.what provokes me most is that the more i learn,the more confused i become.i feel like i've simply making a circuit without any progress.that's why i hesitate whether to learn Spanish while i'm indeed keen of it.

Wow, what to say, English is so common these days, and for most of the work, they don't have quite high demand for the languages. So it is not so necessary to learn English super well, that's why I chose to learn Spanish years ago. Even now my Spanish right now is not good, but still it's useful in my work, and there won't be big problem in Spanish basic communication. So if you really like Spanish, just start to learn it.

i can't agree with you more.it is no need an no learning english deeply nowadays,which is probably valueless.so i suggust it be a waste of resourse to fly to an english-speaking country from the aspect of language studying.however,now that i have to set off to ireland,i have no choice but to learn english,a somehow useless thing.it should have been a marvelous advantage for learn a forein language by sdudying overseas,but it turns into a pity simply because it is——English!

surely i also can learn spanish either in china or in ireland.but firstly i don't think i have the capability to master two forein language,secondly it seems unlikely that one can learn a forein language well without living in the target country,such as Spain and Cuba for Spanish, for at least one year.
