Malice in Wonderland parts way with Andy Valentine
Long time bassist in Malice in Wonderland, Andy Valentine, has decided to leave the band due to musical differences.
There is no drama to this. Sometimes people change, evolve and drift apart and that is what have happened with us. Not on a personal level though, we are glad to say that we all are still the best of friends, but musically we are going our separate ways now. Therefore Andy does not feel right to be part of Malice anymore and that is of course a decision we respect and understand.
Andy explains his decision.
"It is with a sad heart that i have decided to part ways with Malice in Wonderland. Malice has always meant one hundred procent commitment and dedication. If one lacks the total motivation it makes no sense to go on. While I feel certain that Malice is very close to a major world wide breakthru these days it isn't a success that would feel right for me to be part of. I support Malice in Wonderland with all my heart and wish them all the best for the future. I will continue with my other musical projects which you will learn more about later."
The band wants to use this opportunity to thank Andy for what he has done for Malice during the last five years, his work has been outstanding and we wish him the best of luck with his new musical path.
Andy's leaving will in no way delay the band..s plans for the future. We will now continue playing shows with a session member, we are working hard in the studio with our new amazing record and of course the search for a new bassplayer is now on!
More info on that is available on our Myspace-site.
Cheers and rock on people!
Warm thanks for your support
