A sad love story
Today is the 4th of April. This is the second time that Jane has stood in front of the tombs with a bunch of chrysanthemum in her hands and a pair of black sunglasses on her face.Though her face is coverd by the sunglasses,her sandness and loneliness can not be concealed.Looking at the names that are carved on the tombs ,she can’t help crying.Her father and her boyfriend passed away two years ago.Now she is looking at the beautiful blue sky.Everything has changed. Recalling the things that happehed two years ago, she wishes it were only a dream.
Two years ago, Jane was a very beautiful and versatile girl,who was born in a whealthy family.Though she had been brought up by many servants,she was not proud at all.She regarded the servants as her best friends and would like to share her happiness and sadness with them,which made her very popular in the family.However, Jane’s father, David, was a successful businessman,but he was very mean and he was very strict with the servants.He cared more about his business and money than about his own daughter,but Jane never complained about it.
As time went by,Jane grown up.Now she was a 25-year old girl,who was more graceful and prettier than before. Many people might think that she depended on her father and her superior family background heavily.Actually this was not the case. She became a manager of an International Trade Company just because of her hard working,she depended on herself entirely. Besides, she got on quiet well with her colleagues and leaders.So everybody spoke highly of her in the company.
One Sunday evening, Mary, a friend of Jane, asked her out to watch a “Piano Show”.It was a great show because many famous pianists took part it. During the show time,a very handsome guy caught Jane’s eyes.He was not only a charming guy,but he was very talented as well.The music he played made Jane feel so different and unique.After returning home, Jane told this to one of the servants and hoped she can help her to find the guy.Unfortunately,all their efforts were in vain.
Two weeks later,when Jane went home after work,a thief robbed her of the bag she carried. At this moment,a brave young man appeared and he was running after him and finally stopped the thief. Jane was so appreciative that she wanted to thank him in person.when the young man turned around his head,Jane was very surprised.The guy,who stood in front of her,was the very person she wanted to know these days.In order to show her appreciation, Jane asked him to have a cup of coffee.
“Thank you very much for stopping the thief and giving back my bag ”Jane said shyly.
“Oh,I am just on the way to help.” He replied.
“Actually I went to the ‘Piano Show ’several weeks ago and the music you played was really impressive. ” Jane said it with a lot of encouragement.
“I hope you enjoyed it that day.”
“Of course I enjoyed it .It is an excellent show.”
How time flies.It was 10pm. now. Jane stood up and said goodbye to him,then she went home.Jane was so excited that she couldn’t fall asleep that night because she learnt his name was Mike and he was a pianist.Though he didn’t have a good family background,he had a nice personality and he showed a great aptitude for music.In fact,both of them left a brilliant impression on each other.Mike didn’t sleep very well that night,either. For the next few months,they often went out togrther.They went shopping,playing tennis,playing baseball,etc.They shared the the same interests and discussed a certain topic or the great works of the music.Soon they fell in love with each other.A year later,Mike made up his mind to make an offer of marriage to Jane.Mike telephoned Jane and told her to meet with each other in the church at 8 o’clock that evening. Jane arrived there on time and found that Mike was waiting for her.When Mike saw Jane,he took out a small box and opend it,then knelt down his knee and said:

“Of couse I will,I don’t care whether you are rich,but I do care whether you are true to me.”replied Jane.She agreed to marry Mike without any hesitation.
Mike was so happy that he put the ring into Jane’s ring finger.Then he kissed slightly on Jane’s lips.How romantic the night was.
But this thing was learnt by David soon.He was so angery that he locked his daughter in the room and would not allow her to go out to meet Mike.When Mike learnt this, he went to Jane’s home and knelt down to beg David, hoping that David would let them marry.Out of Mike’s expectation,David refused his request ruthlessly.what’s worse,David stamped on Mike’s fingers so hard that he couldn’t play the piano any more,which can not be accepted by Mike.On the way home,Mike drove the car so quickly that an accident happened and he left the world forever.
Jane didn’t know what had happened to Mike until a week ago,which was told by a servant.This time,Jane qurrelled with her father so bitterly that she left home.
Half a year later,it was David’s birthday.He held a big birthday party for himself.On that day,a disaster happened to him. When the servants got everything ready and a servant came into David’s room to ask him to the dining room.When she opened the door,she was so shocked that she shouted out loudly. She could not believe her eyes. David was shot to death and he was surrounded by bright red blood.they called the police immediately and an investigation began.Because of the police’s careful investigation,the murderer was eventually caught.After a short while, Jane was informed by the police that her father was killed and she was asked to go to the police station. The murderer was her father’s new assistant,Tom.Tom’s real identity was Mike’s father.He couldn’t accept the cruel fact that his son had died.So he concealed his real identity and became an assistant of David,then he tried to find a chance to shoot him.
The sun has been gradually setting in the west,Jane is standing in front of the tombs for the whole day.Sunlight shines on her face and her eyes are filled with tears, but she could do nothing to change the reality.Looking up the sky again,she holds back her tears and gives a big smile to Mike and David who are in the heaven now,though she smiles so reluctantly.When it is dark,she goes towards home.
