DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Commercial Dept is a key revenue generator for the club and an area in which the club is making significant investments for future growth. The Commercial area encompasses; Marketing and Brand Development, Retail in all its forms, Partnership sales and servicing, Digital Media and Event Planning and Execution.
JOB PURPOSE
To provide Administration support to the China commercial team. To be the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries relating to the team.
RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
Reports to: International Business Development Director, China and Asia
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day support and diary management for the China commercial team. Includes acting as first point of contact for both internal and external high profile individuals, booking meetings, presentation preparation, travel, expense claims and ad hoc administrative tasks.
Managing the China commercial email inbox, Post, Stationery ordering, Meeting room booking. Working together to introduce improved processes and systems for the administration of a growing team.
Providing support for events such as the Pre-season tour, Legend tour and fans event etc.
Collating and filing of documents as applicable.
Assisting in ad hoc Marketing projects and events (such as Membership, fan party etc) as and when needed.
MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education/Qualifications/Training:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Specific Experience:
Previous office experience, in a relatively high profile team assistant role or someone who has demonstrable experience working on ad hoc admin tasks and project work.
Sports industry background an advantage
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:
Fluent in English/Mandarin (both written and oral)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team
Proficient use of MS packages including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Good communicator, both verbally and written. Enthusiastic and friendly
Pragmatic can-do attitude which is adaptable to varied tasks
Requirements
40 hours, 5 days a week. Ability to work some late night, weekends and public holidays as and when required.
