don't get why some artist the RR HOF counts downs the exact moment they can get in and some legendary acts just seemed to be ignored year after year?!?! Deep Purple, Bad Company, Tommy James, the Spinners, Doobie Brothers, and many others. At least no rap this year. I think if another rapper gets in they might as well put country artist like Willie Nelson in. Someone's probably counting down the year Justin Timberflake can get in

No disrespect to Joan Jett, but I'm not sure what makes her Hall of Fame material. It would seem to me that her induction has more to do with a...... groundbreaking.... type argument than the music she produced.
Given that, has Big Momma Thornton been inducted?

Green Day deserves to be here. They have 2 decade defining punk rock albums that together both represent the spectrum and range of the genre. They're the closest thing to The Pistols. The Ramones and The Clash we have left.
