Thanks for all the constructive comments and interesting points made in this thread, we're going to have a maintenance today to try a slightly lower matchmaking frequency for the top 50. We were a tad overzealous with our previous change, but please remember that Boom's live environment is ever-evolving, so until we make the changes and monitor the effects, we don't know exactly how they'll behave. As always, we'll be monitoring this closely and tweaking if necessary until we find the sweet spot
Also, I've spoken with the team today about the top 3 players' bounty and the significance of being global #1, so these are discussions currently on our table. We don't have any plans to change how the top player bounty works right now, but I just wanted to let you know that we're thinking about it.
