There are some vital qualities among the western reporters,such as courage,diligance,erudition,justice,acute observation and so on,of which courage and diligence are the most importand in my opinion.

It is the responsibility of being a news reporter to pursue the truth and to provide comprehensive and rightful descriptions on the public event and other issues, which, in return, will act as a way to enlighten the public. The western reporters are credited for many vital qualities, such as bravery, devoutness, eruditeness, justness, sharp awareness and so forth, of which bravery and devoutness are the most important in my opinion.

新闻记者的职责就是通过追求真实，提供关于事件和问题的全面公平的叙述，达到启蒙公众的目的。西方记者有很多重要的品质，比如说勇气、敬业、知识、公正、敏锐的观察力等，我认为在这些品质之中最重要的是勇气和敬业。The responsibility of a journalist is pursuing facts,offering overall and fair narration about affairs and matters ,through that to enlighten the public.The occidental reporters possess many important qualities such as courage,devotion,knowledge,fairness,acute observation ability etc,among these traits I think devotion and courage is the most important.
