What’s the upcoming news for the Rockets?

Alright, last question, everyone! As much as I would like to say the Rockets are contenders once again, they still have two glaring weaknesses at power forward and point guard. There is a chance, of course, that Jeremy Lin takes a big step forward, and D-Mo might do the same. If a couple of their younger players really come out playing great ball, the Rockets are in good shape. They have their 3 stars in Harden, D12 and Parsons (in that order), but the supporting cast isn’t quite right yet. Weaknesses
Two seasons ago Jeremy Lin was one of the biggest stories in the NBA. Last season he struggled to live up to the hype, and now that Howard is in place he may represent Houston’s biggest weakness. The ideal point guard to play with Howard should be a dead-eye three-point shooter and excel at creating space for post players to operate. Lin will have to work to fit that bill. Experience could also prove to be an issue at the power forward position, where a host of young players will vie for playing time next to Howard.
