So let me understand your logic here. Klaus is a mature man (sure it is not like he has tantrums like a five year old every five minutes…only every five seconds lol) and he needs a mature woman. Ok I agree.
So he is a thousand years old man and he needs a mature woman. Now Caroline is 18 so she can’t be that. But Camille that is how old exactly? 24? Compared to his age she is definitely the mature person that can stand next to him. Ok sure.I

Should I start analyzing about the vampire mentality and the fact that human maturity cannot follow that logic? In that case Caroline’s vampire instincts and perspective are not mature enough but Camille’s human view point is? Ok sure.
Caroline is immature. Right. Because if she was a mature woman she would be able to survive abuse and compulsion rape (Damon), she would be able to earn her way, fight and prove to anyone that she can be a vampire, she would be able to show her mother that she is not a monster (through actions not words), she would be able to control her bloodlust like no other vampire, she would be able to help a new werewolf transition even though that could kill her, she would be able to live through multiple torture sessions, she would be able to stand and survive when her father would torture her and then she would forgive him and then would see him dying while she would constantly act with grace; she would be able to support her friends while putting her life on the line each and every time; she would be able to see good in Klaus when she knows that he is a psychotic sadistic mass murderer that has been torturing all the people she loved (including her), she would give Klaus a chance to gain her respect when he was going to sacrifice her and when he killed Elena, Jenna, Carol, thousand more and turned her boyfriend into a mindless slave and then exiled him. Caroline would be mature if she would still have humanity in her, if she would still care for emotionless Elena that tried to harm her mother and kill her, is she would still try to keep a much older vampire like Stefan in control. She would be a mature woman if she was one of those people that when hardships come along they try to keep their normalcy and go on with their lives, even laugh, have fun and doing silly things that make them smile and make others smile too.I

Yeah Caroline would be a mature person if she did all those stuff. Hold it. Wait! Holly wackamole she did all those things! What a shocker!

I don’t know what they are going to do with Camille on the new show (I don’t plan to watch) and I don’t know if they are going to show a love story between Klaus and her (who am I kidding of course they will) and maybe Camille is a prime example of maturity. Maybe she is even Klaus better other half. She could be or she could not.
But the fact that someone doesn’t like Klaroline or Caroline’s character doesn’t mean that their arguments should be unfounded.
You can find a thousand reasons for not liking Klaroline and as a fan you could want and like different things for Klaus’s character. But ignoring the facts the show had given so far is not the way to support your opinions.I

I was the first one to say that they have reduced Caroline’s character into a love object for the past two seasons (it is a writing theme in TVD and trust me when I say that it will be in TO too.) After a point there has been no progress when it came to Caroline as a person, as a woman and as a vampire. TVD has been reduced into a shipping quarrel and has sacrificed its characters in that shipping war (Klaus included.) But that doesn’t change that each and every character through the years has shown some characteristics.
You don’t like Caroline for Klaus? Good. You don’t like Caroline as a character? I am with you okay. But lack of maturity was never one of Caroline’s shortcomings. Sure she can have her shallow moments from time to time. She is imperfect; She can be irritating, annoying and bossy. Most of the times she doesn’t know how to butt out from other peoples lives. She speaks too much. She is a control freak. She can be neurotic and to care mostly for her love life like there is nothing else in her world. She might turn dark in the future. She might lose her way.
But she is still a very young woman that had to learn how to survive and smile through it. She is handling herself like a trooper and she is always there for those that she cares about. Sure she can have her ditzy moments and she can care about prom and high school dreams. Does that make her immature or shows that she tries to remain positive and normal when her whole life is turning upside down every week?

Because Caroline’s character has been shown to the TVD audience for 4 years. Camille’s for how much exactly? 10 minutes? Less? And in that time you could compare and contrast and get this result?
What Camille is or is not will be shown in the future for the TO audience. But what Caroline is has already been shown in the show for years.
And in all honestly maturity is not a way of showing yourself to the outside world but also a way to handle the world. And Caroline has been through hell and that can only give to a person a bitter taste of life and mature them instantly and yet Caroline is still there laughing and having an open heart. She is a survivor. Is that not mature enough for you? No? Too bad. Maybe Camille will meet your standards. Who knows maybe she won’t be a damsel in distress and will be a fine mature version for Klaus. But let me just tell you this. When you want a woman to be mature only in order to get her to be a perfect love object for a man then obviously you don’t really care about how mature her character really is but about how she could be one more shiny accessory for a ship. 我是第一个说在前两季里他们把芭比置身于一个爱情关系而削弱了芭比的性格的人（这是TVD的一个写作主题，相信我，这也会是TO的主题）。在那之后，芭比作为一个人，作为一个女人，作为一个吸血鬼已经没有什么进步了。TVD已经被削弱成了一个“shipping(楼主不知道怎么翻)”的争吵了，而且在这场战争中，已经牺牲掉了他们的角色了，（包括大K）。但是这不能改变的一个事情就是，在这一年里，每一个人物都表现了他们一定的性格。
