You: it has several meaning ..how can I distinguish them?
Stranger: It practically means, "whats happening in your life at the moment"
Stranger: Well....if someone says what's up....the easiest answer would be, "not much, you?" and "just chilling"

Stranger: But if someone asks me that, I tend to say weird stuff like. "I'm just...ya know....hacking into the navy" :P

Stranger: And "sup" is a shortened form of "what's up"
