Swimming Australia announced on Friday that Brisbane will host the 2014 national swimming titles.
The event will be held on April 1-6 and serve as qualification for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, which start on July 23.
In January, Ian Thorpe hinted he would defer a shot at international competition until 2014 and was eyeing off the Commonwealth Games.Next year's Pan Pacific swimming championships will also be held in Queensland, on the Gold Coast from August 21.
