Rafa Nadal: Nothing Changed. I Lost a Final and That's It
22/4/2013
Eighty-three media representatives and 15 TV channels have
attended the first official press conference of Rafa Nadal at the Barcelona
Open Banc Sabadell after he lost the Monte Carlo final against Serbia?s World
No. 1 Novak Djokovic yesterday.
In a packed press conference room, Rafa talked about his positive feeling and
made clear that although he did not win the ATP Master 1000 event in Monte
Carlo for the ninth consecutive time, "nothing changed. "
"I have lost a final, " the Spaniard said, "and that?s it.
Moreover, I have lost against the best player in the world. " Nadal is
satisfied with his performance in Monte
Carlo and said that neither he nor his team could have
imagined the great results he is achieving after his comeback.
“我输掉了一场决赛”西班牙人说,“就是这样,并且我的对手是最优秀的选手”。豆子对自己在MC的成绩相当满意,并且说到不管是他还是他的团队没有预想复出以后能有比这更加棒的战绩了。
"When you make it to the final in Monte
Carlo you cannot think that you had a bad week. Now
I?m in Barcelona
and I want to enjoy it. I love playing here, " said Nadal, adding that he
is neither sad nor angry about losing the final.
当你已经打进MC决赛的时候,你无法认为自己度过了糟糕的一周。现在我在巴塞罗那,我很享受这项赛事。我很喜欢在这里比赛。豆子又补充道,对自己的失利即没有感到悲伤也不会感到生气。
Nadal mentioned that he had a good chance to win the second set to stay alive
in the game, but accepted that "Nole played a lot better in the first set,
although the 5-0 in
the beginning was excessive, " added the World No. 5, who is second-seeded
in Barcelona.
豆子提到他在第二盘很有机会保持相当的竞争力,但同时也承认德约第一盘表现得要好得多。
Although fellow Spaniard David Ferrer is top seeded, Nadal said that
"talking about favorites now doesn?t take us anywhere. "
Nadal said that both Carlos Berlocq and Daniel Gimeno-Traver, possible rivals
in his debut on Wednesday, are good players on clay.
