在星期三下午5点到6点之间，一群RDG的死忠粉丝们上传了超过17000篇带有“#rdg”符号的推文。
在其最高峰的时候，一小时就有17500篇带有“#rdg”的推文出炉，简直令人不忍直视！毕竟在平常的时候，一小时面世的推文还不满1000篇。
纵使不久后这份热度便戏剧性地消退了，但RDG的狂热粉丝们似乎不打算放弃他们在推文标题前使用“#rdg”符号的神圣法则。所以，你若想在搜索时使用“#”键提高精准度的话，十分抱歉，短时间内是没办法了。
在搜索自己感兴趣的推文时，网友们常在关键字或关键词之前加上“#”以提高精准度。

READING has been the victim of a Twitter takeover when fans of a Japanese cartoon overwhelmed the 'rdg' hashtag.
On Wednesday between 5pm and 6pm,loyal fans of the anime character Red Data Girl stormed #rdg with more than 17000 Tweets.
Hashtag data shows that at its peak the Tweets reached an eye-watering 17500 an hour---usual use registers below 1000 Tweets.
Although they have dramatically decreased,Red Data Girl's fans appear determined to continue their rule over #rdg,so Reading is now tasked with finding an alternative hashtag.
People use hashtag symbol # before a keyword or phrase in their Tweet to categorise them and help them show more easily in the Twitter Search so you can follow a related topic or interest.
