很久以前在R进军日本市场时也有不少声音...
我们也许可以用更广阔的视野和更多的角度来看这个问题^^

Re: all that talk about Japan and his latest career moves, here's what I think:
Bi is at this point in his career when he wants to make it big. He is very driven. Fortunately, all these opportunities are dropping onto his lap one by one. Then why not take advantage of the opportunity, right? We all keep saying he should rest while he's still on top, but the thing is... at the risk of being bombed by most of you... he's not really THERE yet. He is big in most parts of Asia, but the way I see it, he also wants to make it big in other parts of the world. That's why he's working this hard. Don't get me wrong, ok, I am also concerned about his health and all that, but I'm just trying to understand what could be going on in his mind, what his career strategies are. It seems to me he wants to achieve more than what he is achieving now. It's all just starting; there is still much more to come for him.
We've often heard Rain talk about his ambition to break through the international market (this means Europe and the US, not just Asia). He's already got the major Asian market: HK, mainland China, Japan, Korea, even Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia. He could already live a healthy career for a couple of years with these markets, but he obviously wants more.
And please let me tell you this...for most artists around the world, they don't do it for the money (that part comes later in their career when they're already stablished). They do it for the recognition and validation of their talents. It is already an honor (please take note of the word I used = "honor" because Koreans value this word a lot) for Rain to get this far outside Korea. But seeing that he could achieve more than that, not only for himself but for his country...of course he has to "go for it".
