About China ADC （应用开发部门）
Teradyne's Applications Development Center, or ADC, belongs to the Central Engineering Division of Teradyne's Global Service Organization. Established in Shanghai, China in 2004, today ADC serves over one hundred customers in 16 countries.
In ADC, we develop advanced test solutions for emerging semiconductor technologies. We design complicated PCB device interface boards and probe cards. We create innovative software solutions. We introduce the latest and greatest products to the market, and we provide highly effective training camp program to the world.
ADC's engineering lab has the most comprehensive, most expensive and most sophisticated equipment unmatched by others, capable of testing devices ranging from RF microwave, high-speed, mixed-signal, to power/automotive and micro-controllers. Our Hardware group is equipped with a full suite of expensive, high-end design tools in order to serve a wider range of customers. ADC software team has developed an entire library of over one hundred software tools. As a central engineering function, we are the first to engage the newest products. And as a central pool of talent and intelligence, we show the world the magic of turning new recruits into professional engineers within the shortest amount of time possible. More than 300 engineers from 14 different counties have graduated from our training camp program. Today, our graduates are working at the front line of the semiconductor industry around the world.
