The two-time silver medalist of the 2012 Olympic Gymnastics Victoria Komova may miss Russian Championship and the European Championship because of a back injury, the correspondent of the FTP-Press.
Now athlete with the team is in a training camp at the National Olympic Center "Round Lake". But, unlike the partners in the team, is not suitable for shells, and is engaged only in the gym.
"Why is the injury is not yet clear. Maybe the loads can - with what I grow, and the body does not have time to recover. A week ago, I went to the gym and felt a pain in his back. I started to panic because I did could not do. We immediately stopped training and started a small treatment, but it has not had the desired effect. Accurate diagnosis I was given after the test, which I will go in the next 2-3 days, "- said the gymnast.
Because of this injury speech championships Victoria Komova of Russia and Europe is now a big question. If the gymnast will miss the Czech Republic, which will be held in Penza 1 to March 7, it will automatically skip and a European championship, which this year will take place in Moscow. After selection for the European Championships will take place precisely during the CR.
