I have known Mathew for only one year,but he hasalomst become my best friend in that short time.My favourite thing is chatting with him about everything.He likes me too.Weshare our secrets with each other.Now let me introduce him to all of you guys.
Maybe you will ask:‘Who is that magic boy that is so interesting?'Oh,he is
both my teacher and friend.He is American.He is very humorous.He's also relible.
His mother and sister came to Shanghai in January and they came to our home.
We played an interesting game and I won!His Mum likes Penny and me very much.
This summer hoilday Mathew went back to America and his mother gave us a book
and two scarves. The book is second hand,but it's very new.he brings us a
puzzle game too.That game is very good for our spelling.I often play it with
Panda.
Because Mathew is my teacher,so I often go traveling with him.We have gone to the Shanghai Wild Zoo.We saw a lot of animals.We have gone to Tongji University
,where my mother works.I talk to Mathew in English,and he talks to my parents
in Chinese(He has learnt Chinese for some time,and my parents can't speak
English)So I can speak English with the foreginers.
I like Mathew.I call him‘Mathew Mountain’,because he's very tall and
relible(I said it before).Now do you know him?What?!you want to know more
things about him?So you guys can make friend with him!This is Mathew!

11号 My favourite festival
My favourite festival is Christmas.Aithough it is not as fun as Halloween,I
like it best.
At Christmas,people usually do a lot of things.Before Christmas,the parents do the shopping and buy the things they need for Christmas.And people always buy
presents for who they love.After shopping,the family decorate the house as
beautifully as they can.They often put a Christmas tree in the house,and put
socks,balls on the tree,put presents under the tree.People are all excited,but
the children are the most exxited.On Christmas Eve,the family sit together,
chat,eat a big meal.At night,the children go to bed,and one of the family
members will dress up as Santa Claus,put presents at bedsides.Do you think it's fun?
This year,I also had a wonderful Christmas.In the morning I went to school,
and there were many students standing at the schoool gate,giving us candies.And we had an English party at the gym,the students sang and danced.I went onto the stage too,and I danced with my English teacher Sabrina.We all had a great time and I was very happy.
Now,do you know the reason why I like Christmas?The most important reason is that I can stay with my family and do anything that I want!

When we talk about the food.I will tell you that my favourite food is pork braised in brown sauce.
In my opinion it is very nice and delicious.A well-marbled roast of meat is packed in a big pottery jar and it is crumbly and tasty. In my impression , I always eat a lot of pork braised in brown sauce when my parents don't take care of me.So I become more like it.
The reason why I like the pork braised in brown sauce, because of it is not only nice but also very refine. This is the following three reasons. First of all this is the food which is the most traditional and special food of shanghai. And second this food is the famous food in shanghai. There isn't a person who say that this food is not delicious. Last but not least, as we all know the pork braised in brown sause is cooked easy. So my family always cook it. And I found that I'm never tired of it.
An artist lives everywhere. The pork braised in brown sauce is my favourite food. No one can be more delicious than it.

Let’s be friend of the Earth

AS we know, the environment on the Earth is becoming worse and worse. Pollution is one of the most important things on the Earth. What shall we do? How can you help our Earth? Let’s have a look at it.
First thing is land pollution. Sometimes we leave rubbish everywhere but no one wants to pick it up. The rubbish is there all the days but no one pays attention at it. What should the friends of the Earth do? Yes, they should not only not leave the rubbish but also pick up the rubbish on the ground when you see it and tell people not to throw rubbish.
Second thing is noise pollution. Nowadays the city we live in is a busy city. In the city, there are many cars, buses…and so on. Every day they make a big noise. And we sometimes can hear somebody speaking loudly in public occasions. These all make our city noisy. What should the friends of the Earth do? We should make less noise and not sound the horn when we drive the cars. Then the city will be very quite.
Third thing is white pollution. Most things are used by some people only once. After being used, they will be threw away, One the ground, on the grass, on the street or even in a lake or a river. These are very bad for our environment. What should the friends of the Earth do? Tell people use the things we can reuse and don’t throw them as rubbish everywhere, we should look after our environment and make it clean and tidy.Everyone can helps us and makes the environment clean. They should only do a few things, ”A small change can make a big difference!”Yes let’s make our environment better and better together, Let’s be the friends of the Earth, shall we?

We live on the earth. We can say that the earth is our mother (or father?) But now, by the science and technology on the earth in rapid development, the environment on the earth is becoming worse and worse. What can we do for the earth?
Now, there are many kinds of pollution on the earth, such as air pollution, noise pollution, light pollution, land pollution, water pollution and so on. Our Earth mother is unhealthy now. Many factories discharge poisonous water into the rivers. It makes the sea dirty and many marine animals disappeared from the world. The sky is not blue. The water is not clear. The air is not fresh. The land is not green. They make the earth worse. We have only one earth. We must protect our home. So let’s be friend of the earth together.
What shall we do for our earth? Reuse the shopping bags, do not use one-time items….We can do many things for the earth. Let's go into action,make our world a better place!

My favourite festival is Spring Festival. I have three reasons. Let me tell you something.
Firstly,when Spring Festival is coming. I will have winter holiday.I can have a good time during the holiday. I think I can go and play with other and Ican have New Year's Eve fanmily dinner.all the members in our fanmily will have a big dinnrer together and we will have a good time.
Secondly,during the hoilday I can spend a lot of time on sleep. Than I can play computer games an hour a day. I think computer games are very fun.
the last one is the most important reason why I like Spring Festival best because when we are having a New Year's Eve family dinner all the children can say:" Wish you a fortune！Give me a red packet！" Then I can get money from my relatives.That is the most important reason.
Spring Festival can make all of our family member reunion every one can enjoy themselves.I like Spring Festival best.

6班20号 A Visit to Maldives
I have been to Maldives in summer holiday. It is a very small country. In fact, the country is also called ‘Heaven island -Maldives’ or ‘the last paradise on earth’. I lived on an island which is called ‘Vivanta by Taj-Coral Reef’.The people on it are very helpful and friendly.Many of them are Indians. I called them ‘small black’. During the holidays in Vivanta-Taj, I lived in the ‘house on beach’ for two days. I also spent two days in ‘house over sea’ .The scenery of Maldives is very graceful. The blue sea, white sand, grey birds and delicious food made me out of my mind.So I like that place which I can’t be possible to describe.
It is a place which is worth a visit,so if I get another chance to travel, I’d like to visit Maldives again !

We are all living on the Earth, Earth just like our home. And the Earth provides us everythings we need, such as air, water, food etc. But now there are many
pollution on the Earch, like land pollution, water pollution, air pollution,
white pollution and so on. They make our environment very bad and make the Earth very sad. So we must do something for the Earth.
What should we do? We can do many things. For example, we can pick up the rubbish on the ground, we can use less plastic bags, and we can plant more trees too.
Then we can see our environment being more clean and clean.
We should make friends with the Earth, we should protect our environment. Then
our Earth will be more beautiful, our life will be more bright.
