The reasons why I couldn't log in (I'm on now).
They had a new update, my original 8gig file updated to 10gigs.
How did I solve that issue?
- The change language suggestion restarted the client and forced the patch to be updated.
^ That's why people were able to log in after changing language.
My second issue!
Disconnected from battle.net / error 3005
How did I solve that issue?
- Go to 1.0.4 client and change location to europe
- log in to europe / create a char
- log out
- change location to NA
- log in
- log out
- Go to 1.0.5
Been working ever since.
^I'm assuming the change in location forced an update on your account to PTR - this is pure speculation.

Step 1. Go to Account options before log in
Step 2. Switch Language to German
Step 3. It will automatically reboot and download 2.6gbs
Step 4. Proceed as soon as you can log in (don't let full download)
Step 5. Log in (if you cannot due to a new error, simply choose another language besides German)
Step 6. /leave (will make you leave general chat or middle option of sprocket icon)
Step 7. Change back to English
Step 8. ????
Step 9. Enjoy the PTR :)
step 10. Monster Power is in Gameplay Options next to Elective, turn it on. Restore all your other game settings as well because they'll be restartted with test.
If you still cannot log in on all languages you need to clear our the agent folder and your b.net cache.
Step 1 C:\ProgramData\Battle.net (or simply from program data click on battle.net folder)
Step 2 Delete your Agent Folder
Step 3 back to ProgramData go to Blizzard Entertainment
Step 4 Delete your cache folder
Step 5 Try 10 steps again, you'll be promoted do download yet again
Bonus Step: Facepalm at the ridiculousness of all this. Really devs, something as simple as General Chat auto joining is making it so thousands can't log in for days on end, really?
大致意思就是 其实再次开服后数据源已经有部分改动更新过了,需要更换一次语言让程序强制更新到最新。就可以登陆了。如果不行需要清除缓存和一些设置。
本人正在下载德语测试,如有问题可以留言。
