Chinese, Koreans and Japanese...and maybe Mongolians too.
I am aware of the past...but many people don't care, although a lot of people still care.
People talk about the rise of Asia in the 21st C....and an interesting fact is that if east asia combined their GDP and assets it would far surpass both north america and the
european union.
Chinese/Korean vs Japanese or Chinese/Japanese vs Korean or Japanese/Korean vs Chinese?

There is no such thing as "Chinese hegemony" nowadays. The days of the Chinese domination of East Asia and the Sinosphere are long gone.
Nowadays, China is just an ordinary developing country with many internal problems yet to be solved.

Europe is trying the Union thing and we can see all the kinks involved. I think you underestimate the nationalism in East Asia.
I don't underestimate the nationalism in East Asia. It has a presence there just as strong (if not more) than in Europe and the Middle East. USA is a great ally and asset to
both SOUTH Korea and Japan.

What are the common interests of the three countries? They are always claiming each others territories and fighting about WW2 and the colonial times.
Why don't you go out some more and meet more real people? Many Koreans don't hate Japanese. I'm pretty sure most Koreans don't hate Chinese either. People or government? Two
different things.
