Kickstarting his new career as a spokesman for head & shoulders, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps honored seven-year-old William Watson III with the first Confidence Award. Picked for his winning attitude and undefeatable spirit, Watson received the award at a ceremony held in London. The record-breaking Olympian praised Watson for preserving through tough times. Watson's father was shot and killed this April. Watson himself survived a near-drowning. Despite the tragedy, Watson has remained positive turning around his fear of water into a passion for the pool. The ceremony also honored Watson's mother for her outstanding influence and direction in his life. As part of the award, the company is giving the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley a $25,000 grant for Watson's youth center where he swims.
