You might hate me for saying this... but at times it isn't really the creature comforts that matters, it's the sense of security that you failed to provide. 5 years to prove yourself, yet you're asking for... what? another 5 ?! Don't you realize that you're already freaking lucky to even get that long a grace period from anyone at all?!! How do you expect anybody to keep the faith while all this timesyou didn't even get freaking started?!
Remember, only the best weaved nest gets the eggs laid and the strongest lion gets to keep the pride. When the flame of love dies down, if you can't provide or protect what you have, you're out of the game.
That reality for you man! And it's a freaking brick that hits right smack between the eyes. So, get a grip and suck it up like a man! Don't be stuck on the second gear all the time.
Kick start that career you've been talking about for the longest time! It's too late to do anything for her but the least you could do is to do it for yourself, your folks back home and for those that yet to come.
