Subject: UPDATE!
Hello!
Sorry I'm a bit late following up my last e-mail. I've been really
busy lately and have not had time to write.
Anyway, first things first. PLEASE remember NOT to send me
junk mail!!! This includes forwarded jokes, pictures etc. and any
file over 100K. These types of mail block up my account and
prevent other people from sending e-mail to me. Out of fairness
to everyone else, I will automatically delete and block sender on
these types of mail. This will cause you to lose you e-mailing
privileges to me. So don't do it! This is the only way I can keep
correspondence with all of you. If this continues I will have to
stop doing this altogether!
This is also a bit late, but thank you to all of you who sent me
birthday presents in cards. I'm sure they all arrived safely to the
JC Group. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is greatly
appreciated. Thank you so much!!
So, as most of you know I spent September and part of October
in Shanghai training wushu. It was very tough but I enjoyed my
training very much. The only bad thing was that I injured my knee
on my last day. I have been doing rehabilitation and it looks to be
ok now, although from now on I must be more careful.
The Mini Cooper event in Barcelona, Spain was so much fun!
Mini Cooper put out a great effort to put on a really great event!
Although we did not win, (we came in third place) Team Hong
Kong had a good time! If you haven't checked out the photos on
the Yahoo Newsletter please do so.
What am I doing now? This week I have started rehearsals for
"The Happy Prince", the play that I will be doing in February. "The
Happy Prince" will be based on Oscar Wilde's play by the same
name. It is a very fun and interesting process, very different from
working on movies. My fellow cast members and I are learning
many new things everyday.
Also this month I will be working on a new movie called Night
Corridor. This is directed by a new director named Julian Lee.
It's a small movie with lots of heart and will be very different from
the movies I have done in the past. I am also the producer of this
movie too, thus allowing me to get involved with the other side of
the movie business.
In March, I am planning to start work on Love Undercover 2.
Which I think many of you are looking forward to. Hopefully it will
be as good or even better than the first one. I'm happy because
Joe Ma, the director, is allowing me to do some comedy as well!
So as you can see it will be a busy next few months for me with
lots of new and different experiences ahead. I am excited to be
doing so many things and hopefully you will all enjoy the results!
Ok, time to get some sleep! Take care and thanks for all your
support and encouragement!
Sincerely,
Daniel Wu
