After her public break down and visit to rehab last year, Demi Lovato
has been very open about her bulimia and now she's furious with her
former employer, Disney. Demi's anger is based on an episode of the
Disney series "Shake it up" where one of the characters said, "I could
just eat you up, well if I ate."
"I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress' from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease. #nice", Demi tweeted. Later she added: "And is it just me or are the actress' [on Disney Channel] getting THINNER AND THINNER.... I miss the days of RAVEN, and LIZZIE MCGUIRE". Hm, could Victoria Justice be one of the thinner girls she's talking about?
However, as the power women she is, Demi got her way. Disney quickly answered, "@ddlovato - we hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them". (usmagazine)
