JYJ member Park Yoochun has been subpoenaed
as a material witness on a case of breaching the Ships Safety Act.
A personnel of Namhae maritime police department spoke with
TV Report on the phone on the 26th,
“Park Yoochun is not being charged with any crime. The company he’s hired to
look after his yacht has breached the Ships Safety Act and he’s being called to
testify in the case as a material witness”.
YTN reported on the 26th that Park Yoochun’s owned yacht was under
investigation for breaching the Ships Safety Act.
Park Yoochun’s agency responded on the matter, “We are currently verifying
the information. We’ll explain everything once we verify the reports”.
According to the Ships Safety Act’s code 29, a vessel without proper
inspection is imposed a fine of 2,000,000KRW (Roughly $1800 USD).
