恩，比较同意这句话，俺没有回头看内容，只是凭借楼主的截图来说的。我觉得应该也是有两个意思：一是，结婚时，婚礼上可能会用上的瓷器；二是，日常生活能用到的瓷器（婚后）。
我理解的引申意思也差不多在这两个范围里了。即：我们还没住在一起，他们就要我们挑选婚礼上用的china patterns了；另外一个就是：我们还没住在一起，他们就要我们挑选婚后的日常用的china patterns了。
想到一个细节，Monica是不是想在她的婚礼上有很珍贵的瓷器，结果被谁不小心打坏了？西餐用的盘子是否一般都是瓷器，如果是珍贵的瓷器，是不是就显得更好一些？
