Kyle was born in Summertown, Tennessee but moved shortly thereafter to Ottawa, Ontario where he lived until the age of 10. After a brief period in Sudbury, Ontario he moved on to Cambridge, Ontario where his interest in acting began. Weekly he would travel into Toronto for three months until finally he received his first part with an independent production My Dog Vincent. Kyle learned of his new part after his mother called him at school. He was so excited he burst back into class exclaiming "I GOT THE PART!!!". For the next two years he attended high school for the performing arts where he continued his acting career with guest appearances on a variety of shows. At the end of his Sophomore year of high school, Kyle and his mother had intended to move to Los Angeles for the summer...however, half way into their journey Kyle learned he was to star as 'Ezra Friedkin' in his series called Higher Ground with Fox Family Channel.
Describing himself as a comic at heart, Kyle is always laughing and making up jokes for the entertainment of others. At the drop of a dime Kyle is willing to play the funny guy or the psycho character. He goes on to state that "Some of my best characters never make it off the audition tape!" - having starred in several pilot series which were never adopted by a network.
