Congratulations to the cast and crew of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy which this week celebrated its third week at number 1 of the UK box office.
According to the Hollywood Reporterthe film has made approximately £9.3 million since its release. This week Variety published an article about Tinker Tailor's younger generation of actors calling Benedict Cumberbatch (and Tom Hardy and Mark Strong) as "some of Britain's hottest emerging actors".
Benedict has appeared in two "sexiest men" polls this week! The readers of Glamour magazine have voted Benedict as one of the top 50 sexiest men in the world. Cult Box readers have also named Benedict as one of the top ten sexiest males in UK Cult TV. Benedict came third in the poll beating the likes of Bradley James and Matt Smith!
Parades End starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall has been showcased to international buyers at Mipcom this week. Our page on the upcoming series (which started filming recently) has been updated to reflect the recent cast announcements and the image used to promote the series in the Mipcom brochure.
Sherlock series 2 is also being showcased at Mipcom and some promotional photos have started to appear as a result. Sherlock has also been nominated for an International Emmy Award for best drama. Sherlock is up against the gritty French drama Spiral and series from Brazil and Japan for the award.
Finally a new trailer for War Horse (released on Christmas Day in the US and on the 13th January here) has been released today featuring Benedict.
