Peter Confirms Orlando Bloom joining ‘The Hobbit’
Direct from Peter Jackson…Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character with his portrayal of Legolas. I’m excited to announce today that we’ll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more. I’m thrilled to be working with Orlando again. Funny thing is, I look older—and he doesn’t! I guess that’s why he makes such a wonderful elf.

     时光网讯 《霍比特人》又有卡司新消息。之前《霍比特人》主演马丁·弗瑞曼(Martin Freeman)曾经在BAFTAs颁奖礼采访时说漏嘴，表示自己在BBC热播剧集《神探夏洛克》中的搭档本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇(Benedict Cumberbatch)也将加盟。而此次，本尼的角色终于确定，他将在影片中为守财奴喷火巨龙Smaug配音。
     虽然真人不能在影片中出现，不过本尼将会通过真人动作捕捉技术来饰演Smaug。事实上他已经为片中的亡灵巫师-Necromancer(索隆和其他戒灵都是Necromancer)献声了。除了参演彼得·杰克逊的《霍比特人》，本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇还将会出现在史蒂文·斯皮尔伯格掌镜的影片《战马》中。他还将搭档加里·奥德曼、科林·费斯、汤姆·哈迪，在《锅匠，士兵，裁缝，间谍》出演拥有精彩内心戏的Peter Guillam。
     如今，在完成了丹尼·鲍尔的舞台剧《弗兰肯斯坦》之后，本尼已经回归了《神探夏洛克》剧组，开始了第2季的拍摄。有关巴斯克维尔猎犬的故事已经在卡迪夫郊外拍摄完毕，准备进行后制。此外，他还将和《午夜巴塞罗那》女星丽贝卡·豪尔(Rebecca Hall)合作出演HBO和BBC携手打造的一战小说《Parade’s End》(行进的目的)改编的同名剧集。

     除了Smaug，另一个主要角**ard的演员也已经确定了，他便是《三个火枪手》男星卢克·伊万斯(Luke Evans)。Bard是Dale谷国王Girion的儿子，也是一名神射手，他为了报杀父之仇，射杀了会说话的龙Smaug，成为人类英雄。他在片中的角色和正传中的阿拉贡Aragorn有些相似，十分值得期待。

This was quite a popular topic, with JOHN LIDDLE, TOBY PHILLIPS and SETH DONALD, along with many others, asking variations of this same question.
I’m not going to say just what and when, but I will confirm that both the White Council and Dol Guldur will feature in the movies. And not just in one scene either. Just how to visualise it has been a challenge, but fortunately Alan Lee and John Howe went crazy with ideas, and it should look pretty cool.
In fact to celebrate the start of these 20 questions, I’ll show you an exclusive photo of the White Council planning the attack on Dol Guldur! 多么富有童心的白道会~ 要不是克里斯托弗·李已经年近九旬，一定也会参与其中吧，那就全了（PJ算白道会编外人员好了）
这么多熟面孔，感觉上真和魔戒成一个系列了
既然额外加了Legolas，为什么不干脆也加上E爸的双胞胎儿子呢？反正霍比特人薄薄一本书拍成上下两部，容量比魔戒电影宽松多了。
