Brittani! I am so excited to have Brittani as our Cycle 16 winner. I have to say that this was one of the closest competitions we have had in Top Model history. What an amazing finale. Both Brittani and Molly are great models and have so many unique strengths. But in the end, Brittani showed a slight edge on growth, photo presence, commercial appeal, and oh yeah - one FIERCE runway walk. She stole the show!
I believe Brittani inspired us all with her true rags-to-riches story. Growing up with a single mom in a trailer park, she truly blossomed through this competition. I love the ability that a Top Model has to expose our contestants to an international location, like we did with Morocco. It was the first time that some of the cast, including Brittani, had left the U.S. What a journey we had.
Brittani's make-over was transformative as well. Doesn't it inspire you to do something amazing with your personal look? Own your fierceness! That was one of the single most impactful make-overs that I have done in 16 cycles. All in preparation for her big photo shoot with Vogue Italia. I can't wait to see the gorgeous photos! She will be an inspiration to thousands of girls around the world -- and she deserves to be one of the select few that call themselves America's Next Top Model.
