They called her "Roskosh" (Luxury) after the name of the village near which she killed the dogs. It is, however, simply a nickname and will not be registered in any papers.
Specialists at the Utyos center will conduct a full medical examination of the tigress, while experts from the Severtsov Institute will check her for infectious diseases. During the initial checkup, she was found to be a young and healthy female. Her weight is around 110 kg, and all her teeth are in good shape. However, experts will receive a full picture of her health only after conducting further testing.



5月24日捕获的这头雄虎，起名叫"Banzai"，重207kg，比去年捕获的"Professor"还要重一些，但是线性尺寸要小，可见这头虎很粗壮。

They caught an adult male in the Ussuriysky Reserve. He is not a stranger to the researchers. They have already recorded his image with photo traps and conducted DNA tests on him. The tiger's name is Banzai. He is heavier (207 kg) than Professor, a male that was tagged earlier, but smaller in size.

It turned out to be a large male, nearly 200 kilograms in weight, about 4 years old, in good physical condition, with perfect teeth. Our staff quickly took all the measurements, snapped a few pictures from both sides (so we could later compare this tiger to images from camera traps and determine whom we had caught), and most importantly, put a collar around his striped neck – a GPS collar, which would give us information on the tiger’s location every 1.5 hours. Trying to make as little noise as possible, they left the tiger to wake up on his own.


去年7月7日捕获的雄虎，前面已经提到了，起名叫"Professor"，204kg。






Professor的2岁儿子，重150kg。

On 9 February an adult male Amur tiger (4-5 years old, 156 kg) came to the hunting base near Alexeevka, a settlement on the south-east of Primorsky kray.   It didn’t react when frightened and was captured and placed to the tiger inspection rehabilitation centre.
对了还有这头，2月9日的，4-5岁的雄虎，156kg。


更早一些的也算上就多了，07-08年的几头：
One of the most interesting things about trapping the same area over a number of years is getting to know individual tigers better. The fact that a third of our study area harbors radio-collared animals who we had the opportunity to back-track in the winter only augments the intimacy we feel with our study animals.
