All of them, including the two novels"Three Doors"and "Racinglike a teenager",have　short scenes with biting observations of school life,travel,consumerism and girls. 
　In part,because of his status as adropout and self-described outsider,his remarks on　schools stand out as provocative.He doesnot like standardized tests or the education　system.
　In his idealwored ,he says,school would be held two days a week with five-day weenkends and classes would be 10 minutes long,with 45-minute breaks.

Despite his popularity among young readers,Han said he never intended to become a hero to anyone. As the teenage son of a newspapers, he said, for lack of a　newspaper editor in Shanghai area, he mailed articles to newspapers,he said,for lack of anything else to do.Later,writing became his way to rebel.

 The winner of a nationnal writing contest in 1999,Han dropped of high school after his first novel,published in May 2000.He moved into a Beijing apartment.He had no job　and spent much of the money he earned on cars.

　"I don't want to be a role modei",he said."If people think Iamor treat me as a role model,I can't do uch about it, but I definitely don't like the fold.
　
　Academics debate Han is a gifted write or merely a pop phenomenon. But there is　little doubt that Han Han has become a mass market product.

 A television special has been produced from his first novel.Another television show on young writers dubbed them "little Han Hans".
