At 1000 PM CHST...1200 UTC...the center of Super Typhoon Sinlaku
was located near Latitude 11.1 degrees North and Longitude
150.2 degrees East. Sinlaku is moving northwest at 9 mph. It is
expected to maintain this general course and speed through Monday
night as it heads towards the Marianas. The onset of tropical storm
force winds are expected to reach Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan
Monday evening or Monday night. Typhoon force winds are expected to
start reaching Rota, Tinian, and Saipan Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 150 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
intensify through Monday.
