Today, I’m thrilled to announce the world premiere of my rock musical short “I Was A Teenage Werebear”!
Along with the director, I’ve been invited to open The Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival! If you remember, this is a project I did back in November that was originally part of a large anthology film called Chillerama. The producers have pulled “Werebears” apart from the main movie to submit it as a short at queer film festivals all over the world.
Not only will we be screening the short the day before Casper Andreas’ forthcoming film “Going Down in La-La Land”; but I’ll be taking part in a panel discussion, co-hosting the opening gala event, AND doing a meet & greet at famed Hula Grill in Waikiki Beach.
Save the dates!

Do you remember the mainstream film I did called Big Gay Musical? The one where all of you complained I was only in one scene (or watched it & were pleasantly surprised when my little face randomly popped up on the screen playing a hustler?).
YEAH, THAT’S THE ONE!
Well, it was directed and produced by Casper Andreas, one of the hardest working, busiest little visionaries in queer cinema today. While much of LA-LA LAND is done, there is a call to garner more resources to solidify promotion, distribution and some final sound/color improvements. You can help us out by donating to the cause:
Every little bit helps! “Going Down” looks like our kind of film. I know you’ll all love it just as much as Judas Kiss or Werebears; you’ll just have to breathe easy and try not to take it out on Casper for not offering me a role :-P
It’s always been my belief that the only thing worth doing is doing well – that and the fact that if you want anything done right in life, you’re just going to have to do it yourself. On a personal level it’s important to help see gay films to their finish. By physically showing you are behind the art scene; it helps it to flourish. The writing gets better, the parts become more attractive to better actors, and the writing evolves. Queer Media is relatively young by comparison. We have a lot of catching up to do! That means it takes extra special attention and effort from all of us to see these kinds of projects get made! I know it’s hard out there for so many of us right now. This is why, more than ever before, it’s important that more people do just a little. Please do help: from one friend of Casper’s to another. There isn’t a homo in the world that can honestly say they haven’t seen at least something Casper has had a hand in. You can see a trailer of the film by following the link below.

Thank you in advance for you help!
See ya in Paradise at The Honolulu Rainbow Festival!
