英语讨论，这里要讨论的是as的各种用法，这个词很古怪。
于是我决定整理一下它的用法。但是他的用法实在是太多了，欢迎也希望大家能补充。
下面是一些用法。比较杂，有些偏传统（古），仅供参考。
1. as 引导定从。 as shocks the world, he is a math teacher. 还有as (is) known to all。可以限定，也可以非限定。是定从。
2. as引导让步状从。 (As) dark as cloud is, he is to go out. = though cloud is dark / notwithstanding dark cloud.
Try as he might(= however hard he tried), he couldn't open the door. *
3. as 作adv./ conj., 表示同样地 She is a tall girl, as is her mum. * = She is a tall girl. Her mum is as tall.
4. as 作介词，等于like（如，像), in the quality of, serving to denote conformity (correspondence).
grief is fond and testy as a child.* 真正的悲伤就像孩子一样, 痴情又易怒。
your face is as a book where men may read.*
I know him as myself. 我超懂他。

5. prep. 成，作为。就不用我介绍了吧。
注意搭配。
think of, regard, see, deem, consider, rate, mention, disguise, etc. 可以接 as + n./adj./非谓语。
介词加形容词语法正确，如take for granted。
6. as...as/ so... as/the same... as
第2个as后面什么都能跟, 不开玩笑, 语法分析非常复杂，语法功能与than一致。例子：
as wise as stupid 表示同等比较,既聪明又傻。
as brave as (is)ever一如既往的勇敢。
as gay as any early men 像以前的任何男人一样快乐。(原句：Als gay Als any erliche mon*)
As lean is his horse as is a rake.*（可倒装）
Fair as the moon, chosen as the sun.* 美如月，耀如日。
I am as proud as proud can be. 我骄傲的无以复加。(语法没错，且传统）
7. conj. 表时间方式原因，从句内作副词。
Do as I say.
That you love one another, as I have loved you.*
愿你们彼此相爱，如同我曾爱你们那样。
这里that用法： Would that he had lived to see. *表示强烈的愿望。
8. as...so... 省略号跟的都是句子, 表比较。
Just as large companies are having to cut back, so small businesses are being forced to close.*
9. 一些固定搭配。
asmuch (as much) = the same
as much as = almost.
inasmuch as = in that = granted that 因为。 asfaste 尽可能快。= as fast as might be
as good as = nearly, as good as dead快4了
in as far as = to the degree that.
I would rather/ as soon / sooner / as lief : 宁愿， As it were可以这么说。
as regards, as concerning, as to, as touching 关于
